Freelancer In a nutshell: jack of all trades, master of none. Freelancers are the most rudimentary of job classes, with no specialty in any one area, and average stats across the board. However, considering that the most fundamental adventuring skills are learned while freelancing, this class is tailor-made for new arrivals to acclimatize to their surroundings and get their feet wet. Analyzing enemies, navigating dungeons and locating treasure are all essential freelancer abilities that will go on to serve you well no matter what you do down the line. There's nothing wrong with going back to the basics, either - the more experience they gain in other jobs, the more powerful a freelancer becomes. There's a lot to be learned from all walks of life, and that's what the freelancer embodies.
